About Us
LASIM Laboratory is a modern research, development, and educational center operating in the fields of manufacturing engineering and Industry 4.0. We focus on manufacturing engineering and Industry 4.0, where we develop and test solutions for the smart factories of the future.
Core Activities
Educational Activities
We develop innovative solutions in the areas of Industry 4.0, digital twins, fluid technology, and advanced manufacturing processes.
Research and Development:
We develop innovative solutions in the areas of Industry 4.0, digital twins, fluid technology, and advanced manufacturing processes.
Industry Collaboration:
We conduct training programs, workshops, and development projects that transfer knowledge and create direct benefits for industrial partners.
Infrastructure and Scientific Research Equipment
The core of our infrastructure is the SMART FACTORY DEMO CENTER, where we integrate key Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Established digital twins for production planning and monitoring.
- Developed a modern production line with six intelligent assembly stations.
- Utilize robotic cells equipped with tool changers and machine vision systems.
- Integrate smart server devices, RFID, and distributed systems.
- Designed an advanced manual assembly workstation with a collaborative robot and digital work instructions.
- Incorporate additive manufacturing technologies for flexible production of customized products.
- Use AR and VR headsets for visualization and simulation of manufacturing processes.
- Develop our own LPM application for digital instructions, process tracking, and optimization.
- Established a smart factory platform that combines digital twins, SCADA, and distributed real systems based on the “plug and produce” principle.
Additional Research and Educational Equipment
In addition to the demonstration center, we employ a wide range of educational and research setups covering pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, servo hydraulics, and piezo technologies. Our facilities include:
- Educational stations for pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
- Experimental systems for proportional and servo hydraulics.
- Hydraulic presses and miniature production devices.
- Setups for studying piezo valves, piezo amplifiers, and pneumatic muscles.
- DSHplus simulation software for modeling and optimizing fluid systems.
- NI LabVIEW and NI DIAdem software for control, visualization, and measurement analysis.
At LASIM Laboratory, we create an environment that connects education, research, and industry, developing solutions that shape the future of smart manufacturing systems.
