The LASIM laboratory collaborates with a wide range of industrial partners on research and development projects, particularly in the fields of smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0 technologies, digital twins, and the integration of intelligent production systems. As highlighted in our research activities and demonstrator projects, cooperation with industry plays a key role in validating new concepts in real industrial environments, transferring knowledge into practice, and supporting companies in their digital transformation.
Through these collaborations, we work together with companies on the development and implementation of smart factory solutions, optimization of production and logistics processes, integration of robotics and automation systems, machine vision applications, advanced control strategies, and data-driven manufacturing. A strong focus is also placed on simulation, digitalization of production systems, and the development of digital twins, which enable testing and optimization of processes before physical implementation.
In addition, LASIM regularly organizes workshops, joint development projects, student research assignments, and pilot implementations in cooperation with industry, which helps bridge the gap between academic research and industrial needs. This approach ensures direct technology transfer and supports the development of innovative, efficient, and sustainable production systems.
Below is an overview of selected industrial partners with whom we cooperate on research, development, and innovation activities in the field of advanced manufacturing and smart factory technologies.
